Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 6 September 2026 · Varnan Digital (OPC) Private Limited · CIN U62090KL2025OPC096808
This policy sets the limits on what may be done with our website, our software and the services we deliver. It forms part of the Terms of Service and the Client Service Terms.
1. Who it applies to
Anyone using varnandigital.com, anyone using software we license such as Entuer, and any client whose work we deliver. If you give someone else access to a system we built or run for you, you are responsible for what they do with it.
2. Using the website
You must not:
- Access, or try to access, any part of the site, server or database you are not authorised to reach.
- Probe, scan or test the security of our systems without written permission.
- Introduce malware, run a denial-of-service attack, or interfere with the site’s availability for other people.
- Scrape or crawl at a rate that degrades performance, or ignore our robots.txt.
- Harvest email addresses or contact details from the site for outreach.
- Use our content to train a machine learning model without our written permission.
- Republish our content as your own, remove attribution, or frame the site so it appears to be yours.
- Impersonate anyone, or use the site to send unlawful, defamatory, harassing or obscene material.
3. Using our software
Where we license software to you, you must not:
- Share, resell or sublicense a licence key beyond the sites or seats it covers.
- Circumvent licensing, usage limits or authentication.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Use the software to generate spam, malware, phishing content, or material that infringes someone’s rights.
- Use automated requests to exceed fair usage limits, or resell access to an AI capability we provide as if it were your own service.
4. Work we will not do
Some engagements we turn down, and some instructions we will not follow even mid-contract. We will not knowingly:
- Market products or services that are illegal in the target market, or that require a licence the client does not hold.
- Make claims we know to be false, or performance claims that cannot be substantiated.
- Advertise in a way that breaches the Advertising Standards Council of India code, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or a platform’s advertising policies.
- Email or message purchased, scraped or rented contact lists, or run outreach to people who have opted out.
- Build or run tracking that a client’s own privacy notice does not disclose.
- Upload customer data to an advertising platform without written confirmation that valid consent covers that use.
- Buy links, run private blog networks, cloak content, generate fake reviews or testimonials, or use other tactics that violate search engine guidelines.
- Manipulate metrics to make a report look better than the underlying performance.
- Target advertising at children, or use audience criteria that unlawfully discriminate on protected characteristics.
- Run campaigns for a client’s competitor in a way that breaches an exclusivity we have agreed.
If you ask us to do one of these, we will explain the problem and propose a compliant alternative. If the instruction stands, we will decline it, and repeated instructions of this kind are grounds for us to end the engagement under the Client Service Terms.
5. Content you give us
Anything you send us to publish, run as an ad, or load into a system must be accurate, lawful and yours to use. You are responsible for holding the rights to imagery, copy, music, fonts, trade marks and testimonials you supply. If a third party claims we infringed their rights by using material you gave us, the indemnity in the Client Service Terms applies.
6. Account and access security
Where you hold credentials for a system we run, or we hold credentials for yours:
- Keep them confidential and do not share individual logins.
- Turn on multi-factor authentication wherever the platform offers it.
- Tell the other party immediately if you suspect a credential has been compromised.
- Remove access for people who leave, on both sides, without waiting to be asked.
7. Reporting a problem
If you find a security vulnerability, please email [email protected] with enough detail to reproduce it, and give us reasonable time to fix it before disclosing it. We will not take action against anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith, does not access or alter other people’s data, and does not disrupt the service.
To report abuse, copyright infringement or content that breaches this policy, write to the same address with the URL and what the problem is. We investigate every report and act where it is justified.
8. Enforcement
Depending on what has happened and how serious it is, we may issue a warning, remove content, suspend access, terminate a licence or an engagement, or report the matter to the authorities. For serious breaches we may act without notice. Suspension or termination for breach of this policy does not entitle you to a refund of fees for work already delivered.
9. Changes
We update this policy as the services and the risks change. The current version is the one that applies.
